Title:
unity: synaptic lockeddrags not enabled
Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
On the trusty installer desktop, double-tap drag works to reposition a
window, but upon lifting the finger the drag halts immediately. This
is very inconvenient when the user wants to drag a window further than
the distance available on the trackpad. On Synaptic devices locked
drags can be enabled with options "Synaptics Locked Drags" and
"LockedDragTimeout". Another solution would be so switch to triple
touch drags for repositioning (like OS X), this is preferable as there
is only a single gesture, so the user's intent is always clear, and
the drag will never timeout inadvertently.
