[Bug 1300936] Re: weird results from HUD

 

I believe this is actually a bug presentation of the results in the
Unity shell. Some quick debugging in HUD reveals that "enter" does,
indeed, have the single, correct, result:

QUERY = ("enter") 
suggestion "<b>Enter</b> Location… (Go)"

It seems like the Unity widget that presents the results doesn't always
handle resizing to only having a single result. If you repeatedly switch
between "ente" and "enter", you will see it sometimes showing no
results, and sometimes showing a single result.

  tap alt.
  type enter
  =there are no results. There should be results. Why does "enter" have no results but "ente" or "enter " do have results?
  hit spacebar
  select "Enter Location... (Go")
  Nothing happens - it should have opened the"Location" window
