Title:
[regression] lockscreen needs extra key stroke to wakeup before
password is accepted
Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
starting with unity=7.2.0+14.04.20140410-0ubuntu1 the unlocking needs
extra key press before accepting the password.
i've tested with 7.2.0+14.04.20140404-0ubuntu1 to confirm the old behaviour:
- lock the screen
- wait until its black
- type your password and hit return
expected behaviour:
- back in session
actual behaviour:
- "wrong password" try again
workaround:
- lock screen
- wait until its black
- press any key
- type password and hit return
so this is a UX regression and very annoying.
last version working 7.2.0+14.04.20140404-0ubuntu1
regression since 7.2.0+14.04.20140410-0ubuntu1
