  com.canonical.indicator.appmenu menu-mode doesn't do anything

Status in “indicator-appmenu” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  The gsettings schema com.canonical.indicator.appmenu menu-mode has two
  options: global and locally-integrated.

  Changing the setting from the default to locally-integrated doesn't do
  anything.
