Sorry I was out of town for a conference so was unable to respond
quickly.

I just reproduced this bug again with final 14.04, and on top of that it
appears to have passed my password through to the application with focus
behind the screensaver which happened to be IRC (ugh).

  I'm seeing a bug that sounds somewhat similar to the old bug 771391. On trusty sometimes the Unity HUD shows through the screensaver. I will attach a photo of the issue.
