Title:
German translation: password wrong text is too long and destroys
layout
Status in Unity:
In Progress
Status in Unity 7.2 series:
In Progress
Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
When I try to log in with a wrong password, the string which informs
me about the wrong password is too long (I will attach a "screenshot")
it makes the password box enlarge, which makes the right end of it
(with the circle, that is spinning while logging in) disappear.
[Test Case]
(1) Log in to Unity
(2) Set the local to German (Use the Language Support panel in System Settings)
(3) Bring up the lockscren (eg. using control-alt-L)
(4) Attempt to unlock but enter an incorrect password
[Regression Potential]
Rendering error message text in the password dialog has been modified. It is possible the text may break incorrectly or the box may be incorrectly sized.
