  Volume slider and calendar disappeared

Status in “ido” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  The volume slider is not showing at all, instead a blank space is
  showed. The calendar is also missing, only the word 'calendar' inside
  brackets is showing. Check the image for further reference.
