[Bug 878475] Re: notify-osd has a black border with no compositing (unity2d)

 

This bug still presist on Ubuntu 12.04 with gnome-session-fallback
installed with no effects. Please make a fix for this.

Bug description:
  When running with no compositing (e.g. Unity 2D) the notifications
  have a black border around them.

  Steps to reproduce
  1. Log in to a Unity 2D session
  2. Trigger a notification
  3. See black border

  What should happen:
  Notifications should not have a black border around them.

  This may be a recurrence of Bug #654921
