Title:
  Notification daemon leaks X11 windows

Status in “notification-daemon” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: notification-daemon

With every notification show, notification-daemon 0.3.6-0ubuntu2 leaks
two X11 windows as the following commands demonstrate:

      notify-send "$(date)"
      xwininfo -root -children | grep notification-daemon | wc -l

The problem seems to be fixed in upstream version of notification-daemon 0.3.7.
Christian Hammond suggests to upgrade libnotify and notification-daemon anyway,
as releases 0.4.4 and 0.3.7 contain "lots of bug fixed and memory leak fixes".

Maybe solving this ticked also solves #67129.
