  '# of windows' Launcher tickmarks not updating

Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  The little tickmarks next to Launcher icons that represent how many
  windows are open, e.g. 3 Google Chrome windows, does not update as
  windows are opened and closed (3 -> close -> 2, Launcher icon still
  shows 3 ticks).

  As a workaround, I can switch to another application, e.g. Terminal,
  and back, to force the tick marks to update.

  Google Chrome stable 35.0.1916.153 / Ubuntu 14.04.
