Bug description:
  When launching Skype in Oneiric the new indicator system can render
  the Skype notification menu, but (a) there is no icon and (b) there is
  no means of displaying the Skype window. Click the Skype icon in the
  Launcher does not display the window but start a second instance of
  Skype, which is unable to log in.
