Title:
Unity 3D crash when lid closed on Dell Latitude E6510
Status in Unity:
Fix Released
Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Hi,
This is a regression that only affects Unity 3D. Unity 2D works fine
for me.
I tried every configuration possible in the power manager with the
same effect : if I close the lid of the laptop, when I open it back, I
see my desktop and the mouse is moving, but I can't click anything and
the keyboard shortcuts don't work either.
ctrl+alt+F1 works though, which allows me to "cleanly" reboot the
laptop. I tried restarting GDM : it lets me log in again but when my
session opens, it's still frozen.
Any more tests you would like me to do ?
