  Buggy detection of open windows

Bug description:
  Right now my Unity detects I have a Chrome window opened and another
  USB drive attached. I have none of them, but they appear semi-
  transparent, like being open in another workspace. See the attached
  screenshots.

  I run Quantal with all updates to date.
