Title:
libreoffice hides unity launcher
Status in One Hundred Papercuts:

Status in Unity:

Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
on startup or login, if you open up an existing libreoffice write file, the unity launcher hides and it doesn't matter how much you bump the left side of the screen it doesn't reappear.
most times the top taskbar (with the close/minimize/maximize icons) is also no longer visible, instead it shows the standard menu items for the desktop.
how to duplicate.
create a new document in libreoffice write.
make sure it is maximized.
save it to desktop. (or nautilus)
close everything
logout > log back in / or restart
double click the write file. it should open maximized.
now the unity launcher is hidden and cannot reopen
check the top taskbar (close/minimize/maximize) if it is still there, close write and reopen the file. 9 out of 10 times the taskbar will disappear.
if I maximize any other program on startup, before opening the libreoffice file, then it works fine.
if I launch a new write file, then it also seems to work okay.
