Bug description:
  Binary package hint: unity

  I'm editing a document in OpenOffice.org that resides in the
  ~/Downloads/ directory.  OpenOffice.org creates a lock file while you
  edit the document and now that lock file (which starts with a '.') is
  displayed in the Files Place under the Downloads section.  I see no
  reason why anyone would want that behaviour.
