Title:
Unity can't maximize Scribes application ("MaximizeIfBigEnough:
Scribes window size doesn't fit")
Status in Unity:
Fix Released
Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Scribes is a text-editor for GNOME. Since Unity=3.2.12 all
applications appear to be forced to launch in full-screen mode. All
hightlighted on:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/scribes/+bug/703611/comments/8
This slows launching of Scribes down, including the output of the
following error message on start-up:
** (<unknown>:4289): DEBUG: MaximizeIfBigEnough: Scribes window size
doesn't fit
and this one when Scribes is quit:
** (<unknown>:4289): WARNING **: Unable to fetch children: Method
"Children" with signature "" on interface "org.ayatana.bamf.view"
doesn't exist
