Glew 1.10.0 has been in Ubuntu for quit some time, and it looks like the
other packages added in comment #4 has been rebuilt since it landed,
should these tasks be closed too?

Bug description:
  The current version of glew in ubuntu is outdated and blocking other
  updates. Can someone please update to 1.10, which might break other
  packages.
