At the moment I am using Unity and it happens while I am doing a right click on a file or directory.
Yes, my machine is up to date.

Bug description:
  Under ubuntu 14.04. Thunar 1.6.3-1ubuntu5 crashes if I try to access
  the context menu twice (via right click).
