Re: [Bug 1227407] Re: Unity Launchpad & Taskbar missing when I use LibreOffice 12.04

I can't remember exactly that far back but probably because that was the
most reliable at the time

Bug description:
Sometime after starting and using Libre Office in Windows, I lose the
Unity launcher and Taskbar from view.

Once this happens, I can take the mouse cursor to the extremes and
pick applications by guessing and moving slowly but even if I guess
correctly where the shutdown menu is, it won't log me out or shut me
down. Only once I get a terminal (Ctrl+alt+f2) can I use sudo shutdown
-r now to reboot and start again.

If anyone can recommend the correct log files to upload, I would be
  grateful

  Thanks
