[Bug 1083039] Re: Can't install apps from dash while package manager is busy
I cannot reproduce this on 14.04. Closing the bug because Ubuntu 13.04
is no longer supported.

Title:
Can't install apps from dash while package manager is busy
Status in Unity:
Invalid
Status in unity package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Today I was updating my package list with apt-get update and then
running a dist-upgrade while I was also wanting to instlal chromium by
searching in the dash, right-clicking and installing the package.
There was no installation and no feedback that the installation could
not happen at the current time - this gives a sub-optimal experience.
