[Bug 1405154] Re: firefox windows move with workspace change
The behaviour you are describing is exactly what I would expect if the
Compiz sticky window matching rule included "class=firefox".
Please install the compizconfig-settings-manager package and run the
ccsm program. Under the "Window Management" category, make sure the
"Window Rules" plugin is unchecked.
I'm marking this bug report as 'incomplete' until you have confirmed the
state of that Compiz plugin.

Title:
firefox windows move with workspace change
Status in unity package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
When changing workspaces the firefox web browser window moves with the
workspace change (always staying on the current workspace). This
happens both when using the keyboard shortcut and the gui applet. I
cannot designate different workspaces with different browser windows
because of this. This is very frusterating.
