[Bug 1068443] [NEW] Unity not working
You have been subscribed to a public bug:
After installing Ubuntu 12.10 through Ubuntu 12.04 LTS using the update-
manager, on reboot the GRUB was not working properly. I fixed this using
a USB boot and a program to fix the GRUB. Rebooted and Ubuntu 12.10
loaded to the splash screen, but screen was not fitted the same as
previous installation. After logging in, there is no visible or working:
dash, sidebar, topbar, minimize close and expand buttons, unity. All my
files are still here but currently the terminal is the only route of
operation.
