This is a rather old bug report now and there have been no new reports
of this issue.  It seems it's been fixed some releases ago, so I'm
marking as such.

If this does still occur, we can either reopen this bug report or open a
new one.

Bug description:
  I was running CCSM, (trying to fix things up after 'unity --reset' was
  not my friend).  I went to Preferences, the 'unity' profile was
  selected, and I hit 'reset to defaults'.  Compiz crashed as above.

  (I ended up running
     dconf reset -f /org/compiz/profiles/unity/
  to get back to what I hope is a properly set-up unity.  I hope not to touch ccsm for a while, nor hit this bug again.  So if I'm lucky, this crash is not an ongoing issue as far as I'm concerned.)
