[Bug 1016377] Re: Show / Unshow toggle from tray icons of minimized applications does not 'show' window, only icon on unity bar

Thank you for your bug report. What do you mean "lost"? Trying on the
current version, after checking again the "show" the transmission window
is listed in the launcher and you can click on it or alt-tab to it. What
else would you expect? Maybe the original issue has been resolved, could
you try on a more recent unity version?

Title:
Show / Unshow toggle from tray icons of minimized applications does
not 'show' window, only icon on unity bar

Status in Unity:
  Incomplete
Status in unity package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Have found this behavior in two applications, Transmission and Pithos.

  To reproduce

  1) Select tray icon option to show the application
  2) Minimize the window that opens
  3) Select tray icon to hide the application
  4) Select tray icon to show the application

For many users, the application could be lost in the 'void' at this
point... a right 'combination' of checks would have to be figured out
  to find the application.
