[Bug 1502684] Re: Enable Seconds on the Clock

 

The indicator's current behavior on the phone matches the design spec at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/TimeAndDate#Phone.2Ftablet.

I'll be happy to update the code if design re-addresses this issue, eg
for convergence, but I'm not going to make an MP to go against the
design spec. :)

  Enable Seconds on the Clock

  Confirmed
Status in indicator-datetime package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  on Ubuntu touch when ever trying to set the clock to display seconds
  on the clock using gsettings, the value is getting updated but the
  clock is not showing the seconds.

  Following is the command that i used to enable seconds on the clock

  gsettings set com.canonical.indicator.datetime show-seconds true

  After this when i  check the value, it is showing true but the clock
  is not showing the seconds even after reboot
