[Bug 1620596] Re: [Desktop] Suspend takes around 10 secs to apply in unity8

Moving this to the general tracking project for now. I don't think this
has anything to do with the indicator, which simply calls the
appropriate method to initiate the suspend, when you click the menu
item, and that sounds like it's working. Not sure what in the Unity8
session would cause this to be slower there than under Unity7 though.

Title:
[Desktop] Suspend takes around 10 secs to apply in unity8

Status in Canonical System Image:
  New

Bug description:
Enviroment: Desktop running unity8 on 16.10
              HW: intel graphics+intel processor

  Steps to reproduce:

  1º Open indicator-session menu
  2º Click in suspend button
3º Check that unity8 session log in screen appears before it suspends

Current result: After clicking suspend button, unity8 log in screen
appears for almost 10 seconds before enter in suspend mode. In
desktop's unity suspend takes effect much faster.

Expected result: Suspend should be faster.
