[Bug 1334435] Re: indicator-power does not work after (re)start (Ubuntu 14.04)

Have the same issue on a fresh install of Ubuntu 16.10. Same thing on
live CD.

When running /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/indicator-power/indicator-power-
service , have the message "indicator-power-Message: exiting: service
couldn't acquire or lost ownership of busname".

No icon visible.

Title:
indicator-power does not work after (re)start (Ubuntu 14.04)

Status in indicator-power:
  New
Status in indicator-power package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
After fresh start up of computer (or restart), the indicator-power
service does not work (neither with AC adapter connected or only on
battery), i.e. there is no icon showing. Trying to start the service
  via "/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/indicator-power/indicator-power-
service" yields: "Indicator-Power-Message: exiting: service couldn't
acquire or lost ownership of busname".

Interestingly though, plugging in the AC adapter (if unplugged previously) will start the service and hence the icon will show up and ork correctly until next restart.
Furthermore, suspending the computer and then waking it up from suspend will also correctly start the service (independent of AC plug connected or not).
