Title:
.desktop file quicklist items not showing
Status in unity-2d:
Invalid
Status in unity-2d package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
The quicklist items for the programs listed in the Unity 2D launcher
are not showing, even though I've put entries in the .desktop files.
For example, here's my nautilus.desktop file (located in
~/.local/share/applications):
[Desktop Entry]
Name=Home Folder
Comment=Open your personal folder
TryExec=nautilus
Exec=nautilus --no-desktop
Icon=user-home
Terminal=false
StartupNotify=true
Type=Application
Categories=GNOME;GTK;Core;
OnlyShowIn=GNOME;
X-GNOME-Bugzilla-Bugzilla=GNOME
X-GNOME-Bugzilla-Product=nautilus
X-GNOME-Bugzilla-Component=general
X-Ubuntu-Gettext-Domain=nautilus
X-Ayatana-Desktop-Shortcuts=Desktop Entry;Documents;
[Documents Shortcut Group]
Name=Documents
Exec=nautilus /home/hippo/Documents
TargetEnvironment=Unity
Name[en_US]=Documents
"
In Unity 2D, when I right-click on the home folder icon in the launcher, the only options are "File Manager" (can't be clicked) and "Keep in launcher" (and "Quit" if there is a window open).
The quicklist items are showing properly when I use Unity 3D.
