Title:
unity-2d dependency on utouch-geis should be made optional
Status in unity-2d:
Invalid
Status in unity-2d package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
I want to build unity-2d from source on Gentoo Linux 64bit.
I get the source via
'bzr branch lp:unity-2d/4.0'
Configuring with cmake doesn't give me any chance to not depend on utouch-geis.
As utouch-geis is only a '(Gesture Engine Interface and Support) interface' I don't think it is very smart to depend hardly on that.
So is there a way to configure the sources, so that they are not linked against utouch-geis?
(I tried to install utouch-geis but it failed and now utouch-geis is
'half-installed' so that I downloaded for example geisimpl. and copied
it to /usr/include/ and cmake thinks that utouch-geis is installed,
but unity-2d can't link against it.)
=> So is there any way to not depend on utouch-geis that I didn't
recognize?
