[Bug 2058239] [NEW] shortcuts broken under indicator applet

1) $lsb_release -rd
No LSB modules are available.

2) $ apt-cache policy indicator-applet
indicator-applet:
Installed: 12.10.2+20.10.20200915-0ubuntu2
Candidate: 12.10.2+20.10.20200915-0ubuntu2
Version table:
*** 12.10.2+20.10.20200915-0ubuntu2 500
500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu noble/universe amd64 Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
3) shortcuts should be working and pointing to the right option under
settings
4) the following shortcuts from Indicator applet complete are broken:
Time & Date Settings
About This Computer
System Settings...
Instead they are pointing to the last option chosen under settings.
