I too have been  using Karmic on an E4200 since it was released and it works great. No strange issues or bugs so far. Big improvements across the board from 9.04 IMO. A couple of my machines that were having issues running Ubuntu no longer do with Karmic.

I upgraded from 9.04 to 9.10 and it works fine. But I'm using an E4200.
