So,  we should try with gcj-4.3 instead of 4.4?

I forgot to say before, but the previous build I did not use any patch. The
reason is that I do not know well the purpose of each patch and judging from
the dates of them may be outdated and not needed. I think it's best to try
to package the program and add patches if it necessary.

I also did a thorough cleanup of debian/rules since it had a lot of code
unnecessary (tomcat, a dual system patching...)

Thanks for the help when I have time I will see if I can fix the error. I
hope we get the 3.5 package for karmic :D.
