Hi there-

ecryptfs-utils-83 is now available, and it contains a modified version
of your patch. To meet feature freeze and get it in -83, I had to
reduce the functionality a bit. I had to drop the -s and -b modes, as I
ran into a lot of problems that are not easily solved (race conditions).

So for a first pass, we're only supporting the administrator mode, where
the administrator initiates the encryption of the user's home directory.

I would like to support the -s/-b option eventually.

See the changelog here, for a complete list of changes I made:

Please help test these changes!

The branch lp:ecryptfs is now up-to-date, at revision 509.

Finally, let me express my sincere gratitude to you for your
contribution! I really genuinely appreciate the effort, and I am very
happy to have such a utility in ecryptfs-utils now!

Hopefully you can help test the code that released, we can solidify
that, and then we can work on adding the -s/-b features back in (which
probably won't make Lucid, but can perhaps release an ecryptfs-utils
asynchronous from Lucid).

Cheers.
:-Dustin
