[Bug 304322] Re: ecryptfs-utils amd64 user setup failes

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: ecryptfs-utils

  Trying to install ecryptfs-utils on my jaunty-test-system with amd
  64-bit OS fails.

  kernel 2.6.27-7-generic (amd64 edition)
  ubuntu-gnome desktop
  ecryptfs-utils_66-2ubuntu3, libecryptfs0_66-2ubuntu3

  The installer do not provide the folder/dictionary

  -> /var/lib/>>ecryptfs<<

  adding the dictionary in a terminal by typing

  >>sudo mkdir /var/lib/ecryptfs<<
  >>sudo chmod -R 777 /var/lib/ecryptfs<<

  solves the problem to use ecryptfs-utils satisfying. The fail-function
  will appaer during ecryptfs-setup-private command in a appropriate
  message.
+
+ These installation is a new one and not an update. It differs from an
+ other 32-bit-installation, where are the dictionary is located inside
+ the home-folder and not as a link to /var/lib/ecryptfs. What happens??
