[Bug 459766] Re: Write errors on ecryptfs

 

I still believe it is an error; In my opinion ecryptfs should gracefully
handle the ENOSPC error by propagating it to the upper layers, and not
write scary log messages. I vote for reopening the bug.

Bug description:
Hi

I got IO errors when rsyncing an ISO image to my ecryptfs home dir instead of ENOSPACE and saw scary logs in dmesg.

I think this is due to tight space on the partition.
