I have hacked around this for now by noticing that the problem doesn't
affect decks I create myself.  So I took the decks I wanted, exported
the cards into text, imported them as new decks, and they are now
editable.

** Summary changed:

- editing a card causes all cards to display "{{Front}}" instead of text
+ editing a card causes all cards to display "{{{Front}}}" instead of text
