This is a bug in the unrar (non free) package not including the library,
not calibre

You can use my PPA here:
https://launchpad.net/~andrikos/+archive/ppa?field.series_filter=quantal
and install the upgraded unrar which should fix the problem

I also includes an updated calibre version, but it is not necessary for
fixing this bug
