[Bug 1492546] Re: ifdown stops "manual" interfaces on shutdown
I also filed a (Debian) bug against LTSP yesterday, about improving this
"hiding" of the eth interface from NetworkManager directly. This avoids
having to rely on these subtleties of ifupdown.
