[Bug 1668976] [NEW] Gimp forgets the font in the text layer

I have recorded a quick video of this bug:

To summarise:
After setting the font of the text in the text layer, the correct font and colour are not being displayed. Justification is displayed correctly.

When i type in the centre of the text, everything is normal.
When i substitute the entire text or begin to type at the first character mark, the incorrect font is used.
