[Bug 1698155] [NEW] "Text Edit" tool does not allow word selections!

What I do:
1. Create a text
2. Using "Text-Edit" tool to edit its content
3. I should be able to select (thus delete/replace/...) multiple characters/words/sentences like in any normal text editor, using [CTRL-]Shift-arrows
