[Bug 1707242] [NEW] plugin gmic fails to install from package gimp-gmic
Public bug reported:
With gimp 2.8.16-1ubuntu1.1 installed I tried to use synaptic to install package gimp-gmic
After restarting GIMP filters show GMIC but greyed out and not working.
File gmic_gimp had been placed in the plugs directory but was not
visible in the plugins browser.
The same happens on a 32 bit Ubuntu 16.04 installation
