Experiencing same issue as above.  Seemingly out of no where all
keyboard shortcuts have ceased to work.  The isssue only occurs in GIMP,
and not other apps or OS shortcuts.

Log shows following errors that may or may not be applicable:
script-fu: gimp_wire_read(): error,

asked to register item
/org/freedesktop/secrets/collection/Default_5fkeyring/1, but it's
already registered,


Failed to grab accelerators: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.UnknownMethod: No such interface “org.gnome.Shell” on object at path /org/gnome/Shell,

MESA-INTEL: warning: Performance support disabled, consider sysctl
dev.i915.perf_stream_paranoid=0,

GSD-MEDIA-KEYS:  Failed to grab accelerator for keybinding
settings:playback-repeat,
