Countdown Widget

Some interesting discussion has come up on Google+ and I thought I'd share
it here. First off, link:

We started discussing the possibility of a sort of "countdown" widget. At
this point, in not sure if it's entirely deserving of being pulled into
Granite or not, but let me explain it.

Basically, if you've ever used Android's Voice Actions, you've seen it. If
not, picture a circular widget that "fills up" circularly in the span of
about five seconds (perhaps customizable per implementation). While the
widget is displayed, it has a label of the action that is going to happen
("Power off computer" for example) and a cancel button so the user can back
out. If they don't cancel, the action is performed once the circle is
filled.

We have discussed a few possible implementations and would like your
feedback. Two had to do with Farewell: logging off with open apps and
powering down the device, and a few had to do with other apps: deleting
multiple files, closing a browser full of tabs, counting down for a
screenshot or screencast (like in Eidete), taking a photo in Snap, and
finally, voice commands like in Android.

What do you guys think? Also, I'll try and post a screencast from my
Android phone shortly.
