Possible Plug Idea
I am sorry if this has been mentioned or proposed before, but I had an idea for a switchboard plug and I wanted to run it past you.
I would love to see a plug that shows an overview of "disk usage" in the style of the Usage section in the mockup seen here:
http://elementary-art.deviantart.com/gallery/35710915#/d4yx34p
I don't think it needs the granularity of filetype, but I think at least for the filesystem, it could show "system files" and "personal files".
I envision a switchboard plug with a selectable list of attached drives to the left, and the info of the selected drive on the right.
What I don't want to do is create a redundant plug, or even make this a plug if it doesn't belong in the switchboard. This would be a tool that could be useful for the average user when they just need to see a quick overview of how big their disk is, and how much space they have left. I find myself wanting a graphical display of disk usage fairly often, especially on some of the frankenstein computers I have laying around with only 20-40GB hard drives. If the average user doesn't know how to run 'df -h', it might be nice to have a native informational tool like this.
Please let me know if it would make sense. I know this can't happen until Luna+1 or later, but I had to write it down before I forgot about it.
