This involves a lot of core functionallity that would make it not so
much a "drive by" fix. Removing assignee.

  I should be able to select multiple albums in the column view.

Status in BeatBox Music Player:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  If an album such as a soundtrack has two discs, I would have to
  manually select the second disc to play after the first one. I would
  like to be able to shift-click or ctrl-click to select both, but
  instead it selects the album I last clicked. This feature is available
  within the tracklist, if I need to select more than one song.
