Message #00126
[Bug 923485] Re: Use symbolic volume and mic icons
Sergey that blueprint is entirely not relevant to this bug.
I would assume "the right thing to do" here would be to upstream any

Title:
Use symbolic volume and mic icons
Status in elementary OS:
New
Status in Sound Menu:
New
Status in “indicator-sound” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Indicator sound should use the symbolic namespace for it's icons. This
would create greater upstream theme compatibility as well as reduce
the need to ship and maintain separate icon themes for dark and light
panels and menus. The symbolic icon names in question are as follows:
audio-volume-high-symbolic
audio-volume-medium-symbolic
audio-volume-low-symbolic
audio-volume-muted-symbolic
microphone-sensitivity-high-symbolic
microphone-sensitivity-medium-symbolic
microphone-sensitivity-low-symbolic
microphone-sensitivity-muted-symbolic
