* How does your keyboard layout works in your language?
Yes. I've tried over the years English, Spanish, Catalan and all of them
work great.
* How do you use/type by using your language's keyboard layout?
I actually have my very own keyboard layout based on English (UK,
International) with custom commands/keys to easily access diacritics,
tildes, umlauts, etc. This allows me to type English, Spanish, and Catalan
without the need to switch layouts.
* Do you have problems with your keyboard layout in elementary OS?
Not at all.
Cheers,
Alfredo
