[Bug 821146] Re: Marlin doesn't respect .hidden
I thought there was another bug report about that, but I can't find it.
So, I put it in wishlist, it is not an essential feature but it would be
good to support it.

Title:
Marlin doesn't respect .hidden
Status in Marlin:
Triaged
Bug description:
I've started implementing an elementary os blueprint to restructure
the system, so that the root folder of the system would have folders
like /Applications, /Users, /System, etc.
I've done most of the work already but it's not working well under
Marlin, since it makes use of the .hidden file. This file has a list
of files and folders that should be hidden. Nautilus, for example,
respects this file and hides the folders I want.
Since Marlin is missing this feature, I can't finish my
implementation.
It would be great if you could implement this feature sometime.
Thanks.
