Re: [Question #163827]: picasa will not start on Ubuntu 10.10

Question #163827 on Ubuntu changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/163827

    Status: Open => Needs information

Eliah Kagan requested more information:
What version of Picasa are you running, and how did you install it?

Also, please open a Terminal window (Ctrl+Alt+T or Applications >
Accessories > Terminal), type

picasa

and press enter. Then describe what happens. If Picasa runs, that means
that the shortcut to Picasa was what was broken. It's more likely that
there is a deeper (but still quite possibly solvable) problem, and if
that is the case, there might be messages written in the Terminal that
shed light on the problem. So, after attempting to run Picasa in this
way, please select all the text in the Terminal window (Edit > Select
All), copy it to the clipboard (Edit > Copy), and paste it here.
