Not only can the Ubuntu ping the other computers, but as stated in #7. it
can find the other computers one by one, but not under Network.

The linksys uses defacto standards set out by ISO so the router is
absolutely moot. Additionally it also runs Linux ;)

Can the Ubuntu system ping the other systems by IP and/or name.
